COMMONWEALTH CELEBRATION, 1901, in gold (321mm) by Llewellin & Co., (C.1901/14) inscribed 'H.W. Sargent' edge '200 yds swimming heat 1st prize'. Voided medalet engraved entirely E.S.S.C. (Eastern Suburbs Surf Club). 2nd Prize. Time 6 mins 49 secs./ 440 yds. Handicap won by H.W. Sargent, 1904; hallmarked I.Z.E.S.12, central monogram HWS. Also silver sovereign case by S.M.L. (1899) (London). The first with loop mount otherwise very fine and rare. (3)
