ANGLESEY, Parys Mine Co., mule penny by Lutwyche, PMCo. cypher/bust of Stanhope left (D&H 262). Hint of red, nearly uncirculated and extremely rare.

Ex Glendining's sale 25 February 1920 (lot 26 part) and F.S. Cockayne Collection and Spink Sale 43 (lot 203). This Stanhope die was used several times for Somersetshire productions, e.g. this example D&H 6.
