MERIDEN, Skidmore's halfpenny, 1796 archer/Prince of Wales crest radiated above bow, quiver, horn etc., (D&H 315). Considerable die fracturing on the reverse, lovely red and brown glossy uncirculated and rare.

Purchased from Baldwin in 1978.
