TAMWORTH, John Harding's penny, 1799, uniface trial strike in copper of the reverse on a lettered edge penny blank. Die broken at bottom, huge die and cud and cracks, building only in outline (D&H not listed, 6 bis). Hints of red even brown, uncirculated and probably unique.

Ex A.H.F. Baldwin Collection and purchased from F. Schwer in 1967.
