TEN POUNDS, Cerutty-Collins (1918), W640831, mauve green and mauve on back, black serial numbers with prefix letter W, (R.52a, Vort-Ronald 45a notes p.197 two notes reported, but this note is not cited, Nicholson 11aA). Folds and creases, edge tears, minor rust spots, otherwise nearly fine and excessively rare, being one of three known.
This type was not present in the other great sales viz. the Deutsher (1977), Vort-Ronald (1988) or Williams Collections (1991), but only present in the Nicholson collection sale 49B.
