SPENCE'S HALFPENNIES, English Slavery, a fat man sitting at a table eating/a lean man sitting on the ground gnawing at a bone, French Liberty (D&H 760) (illustrated), Anchor and Cap of Liberty (D&H 761). First beautifully patinated, glossy blue brown uncirculated and struck on a thick flan, the second in mint state with full red, uncirculated. (2)

The first from Spink in 1973, second from Baldwin in 1978.
