SPENCE'S HALFPENNY, Spence's Glorious Plan (D&H 676) struck without a collar on a broad flan, well worn from circulation. Another, struck in silver on a small flan pierced for use as a medalet or keepsake (illustrated). Very good;very fine and very rare in silver. (2)

The first from Spink in 1975, the second from Gothic Coins in June 1983.
