MEYMOTT'S HALFPENNY, 1795 (D&H 377), a proof struck in silver with the lettering raised edge, shows faint first impressions either side slightly different position to final strikes. Attractive blue and iridescent toned, nearly FDC and extremely rare.

Purchased from Baldwin in 1993.
