ANGLO SAXON, Eadgar, (959-975), silver penny, two line type, North-Eastern mint, (1.2 grams), obv. small cross in centre, around EADG.A.R REX, rev. VNBE/IN NO in two lines, divided by three crosses and trefoil of pellets above and below, (Moneyer Hunbein), (S.1129, North 741, Br.1). Nearly very fine and scarce.
