AURELIAN, (A.D. 270-275), billon denarius, Serdica mint, (1.990 grams), obv. laureate cuirassed bust of Aurelian to right, around IMP AVRELIANVS AVG, rev. around VICTORIA AVG, Victory advancing to left, captive at feet, in exergue E, (S.3272, RIC 73, C.255); Severina, (wife of Aurelian), billon denarius, Serdica mint, (2.384 grams), obv. SEVERINA AVG, around diademed and draped bust of Severina, rev. VENVS FELIX, around Venus standing left with Cupid and sceptre, (S.3287, RIC 6, C.14). Both nearly very fine and rare. (2).
