JULIUS CAESAR AND OCTAVIAN, plated denarius (as a fouree), (2.350 grams), issued 43 B.C., travelling mint, obv. DIVOS IVLIVS DIVI F, laureate heads of Julius Caesar and Octavian face to face, rev. M AGRIPPA COS / DESIG in two lines, (S.464, Cr. 534/2, Syd. 1330). Has lost most of the silver plating, copper core visible in places, otherwise portraits silver and nearly very fine, the rest fine, very rare.
