JAPANESE OCCUPATION OF SINGAPORE, Ban Hin Lee Bank Ltd, Singapore, original remittance cheque for four hundred dollars, dated 20th November 1942 (2602), remitted from Penang by telegram dated 9th November 2602, hand signed and initialed, three bank stamps, tied by red Perak 8 cents stamp overprinted Dai Nippon Malaya 2602. A rare cheque from an obscure Singapore based bank. Extremely fine.
