ILKANIDS (MONGOLS OF PERSIA), Post Reform Coinage, Second Period, Ghazan Mahmud ibn Arghun, (A.H. 694-703) (A.D. 1295-1304), silver two dirhams, Isfahan mint, A.H. 699 = A.D. 1299-1200, all with Arabic legends only, but with Ghazan Mahmud name in Mongol (Uighur) script and repeated in Arabic, (A.2173, cf.M.1597). Very fine, scarce.
