HENRY I, (1100-1135), silver penny, small facing bust in circle obverse, cross fleury reverse, issued 1117, Br.X, BMC X, uncertain mint, ..PLAIN.., (uncertain moneyer and mint), (S.1271, N.866). Cleaned, weak legends with traces discernable, otherwise fine and rare.

Ex William J. Conte Collection. This coin has a larger than usual obverse bust as well as legends that do not relate to the published list of moneyers, possibly an irregular issue or contemporary copy.
