BYZANTIUM, Empire of Trebizond from 1204, Manuel I Comnenus (1238-1268), AR Aspers, obv. Greek legend (St Eugenius), saint standing holding a long cross, rev. MNA otherwise unreadable legend, Manuel standing holding labarum and akakia, (Sear 2601). Flat spots but otherwise both good fine. (2)
