One of these notes (M000054) includes a signed presentation letter from the Treasurer George Allen to W.N. Hedges, a Member of Parliament for Fremantle 1906-1913. The notes carry estimates of $100,000 and $120,000 respectively.

The Tom May Collection of Australiana includes a holey dollar and two dumps of 1813 as well as an Adelaide Pound and tokens of Australia and New Zealand. Greek, Roman and British coins in gold, silver and bronze also highlight the collection and include a Charles I Oxford triple unite 1643.

The Alexander Collection of Important Australian & New Zealand Tokens comprises over 480 varieties and is one of the most extensive of its kind to be offered in recent years. A Campbell threepence (c.1854) and a choice Tea Stores penny 1852 (A427) are a few examples of the rare tokens to be offered.

Consignments are being accepted for this auction until Friday, February 10 and we anticipate the list of highlights will continue to grow.
