W. James (Jim) Noble, Managing

Jim has been involved in numismatics since his youth.
He has previously held the position of president of the
Australian Numismatic Society and is a recipient of the
society's gold medal. Jim has authored many articles on
coins and co-wrote the standard reference on Australia's
first coin, the holey dollar.
As a collector Jim owned the world's most complete
collection of British tokens. Since sold, the catalogue
has become the standard reference for Conder tokens.
Jim founded Spink & Son Australia in 1976 as a
subsidiary of the world's oldest coin firm. In the period
to the present Jim has overseen over ninety major sales
and is recognised as a leading authority on Australian
coins in the world.
Robert A. Climpson, Manager, Sydney
Bob, our Sydney office manager, has been involved in the production of
over sixty auction catalogues.
An experienced numismatist, Bob is also available for
auction consultations.
Jill Pearson, Manager, Melbourne
Jill manages our Melbourne branch and has been conducting Melbourne auctions since 1986.
Jill also participates in preparing material consigned
in Melbourne for our Sydney auctions and is available
to advise on the procedures for disposal.
Colin E. Pitchfork, Consultant, Sydney
Colin is our Sydney numismatic consultant specialising
in the area of ancient Islamic, Indian, Greek and Roman
coins.
Colin is vice president of the Numismatic Association of Australia and past president of the Australian Numismatic
Society and has been awarded the society's gold and silver medals.
He has authored numerous publications including The
Jon Hosking Collection of Ptolemaic Coins for Sydney
University.
Gerhard Reimann-Basch, Numismatist, Melbourne
Gerhard is numismatist at our Melbourne office. He
has had a long standing interest and involvement with
numismatics.
Gerhard's professional involvement with Noble Numismatics
began in 1993. Since that time he has overseen seventeen Melbourne
auctions and is available to provide advice on
the value and disposal of collections.
